Chengdu / China — FangKuai Boiler Co., Ltd. has announced a renewed cooperation with electric-vehicle maker XPeng, marking another step in the boiler manufacturer’s ongoing push into the new-energy-vehicle supply chain. According to a company announcement, FangKuai will supply clean, high-efficiency thermal systems to XPeng’s production sites as part of a broader effort to improve energy efficiency and production support for EV manufacturers.
FangKuai said the collaboration builds on earlier projects with leading automakers and expands the company’s footprint in the EV manufacturing sector. The company’s website highlights prior work supporting major new-energy vehicle factories and notes that supplying reliable heat and steam solutions helps automotive production lines maintain stable operations and meet environmental requirements.
This is not FangKuai’s first engagement with XPeng. Media coverage and past reports show FangKuai has previously supplied boilers and thermal equipment to XPeng as part of the automaker’s industrial infrastructure upgrades. Industry observers say such supplier–OEM pairings are becoming more common as vehicle makers seek to improve factory energy efficiency and reduce emissions across production processes.
For FangKuai, the renewed cooperation with XPeng reflects a strategic focus on high-growth segments of industrial demand—particularly manufacturers of electric vehicles and batteries—where reliable, low-emission thermal systems are in demand. For XPeng, partnering with established thermal-systems suppliers can secure dependable onsite heat and steam sources that support assembly lines, parts processing and battery-related operations.
Industry analysts say the trend of deeper collaboration between EV makers and specialized equipment suppliers could accelerate factory-level decarbonization and quality control improvements across China’s EV manufacturing hubs. Both FangKuai and XPeng are positioning themselves to benefit from that industrial shift: FangKuai by broadening its client base in vehicle manufacturing, and XPeng by strengthening supply-chain resilience for critical factory utilities.
