Background

Fenjiu Group, one of China’s most prestigious liquor producers, is well known for its traditional brewing process that demands continuous, high-quality steam. As part of its energy efficiency and environmental improvement program, Fenjiu launched a large-scale boiler upgrade to replace aging equipment with cleaner, smarter, and more efficient systems.

After a comprehensive evaluation process, Fangkuai Boiler was selected as the main equipment supplier, thanks to its strong manufacturing capability, advanced automation technology, and the outstanding performance of its SZS series gas-fired water tube steam boilers.

Project Overview

This project involves two 50t/h and three 35t/h SZS gas-fired water tube steam boilers, providing a total output of 200 tons per hour. The boilers will supply steam for Fenjiu’s distillation, fermentation, sterilization, and bottling processes, ensuring stable operation of the entire production line.

Each SZS boiler is designed with a D-type layout, large heating surface, and a membrane wall structure to ensure high heat transfer efficiency and minimal heat loss. Equipped with imported low-NOx burners, the boilers meet the latest ultra-low emission standards while maintaining efficient combustion.

Key Technical Advantages

• High Efficiency: The SZS series adopts a full-membrane water-cooled wall structure and a large furnace chamber, allowing complete fuel combustion and achieving thermal efficiency up to 98% with condensing heat recovery.

• Low Emission: Advanced combustion technology ensures NOx emissions below 30 mg/m³, fully meeting national environmental standards.

• Intelligent Control: Each boiler is integrated with PLC + Touch Screen automatic control, enabling precise pressure and load regulation, remote monitoring, and fault alarm functions.

• Safe and Reliable: The double-drum D-type design provides excellent water circulation, pressure stability, and a long service life exceeding 20 years.

• Modular Delivery: Fangkuai’s skid-mounted and modular design shortens on-site installation time and reduces overall project cost.

Project Implementation

Fangkuai’s technical team worked closely with Fenjiu’s engineering department to design a customized system solution. From production, testing, delivery, to on-site commissioning, every step was completed under strict quality management and national ASME and CE standards.

After installation, the system achieved:

• Stable steam output with pressure fluctuation within ±0.05 MPa.
