Fangkuai, Feihe Expand Partnership on High-Efficiency Steam Systems

Collaboration to enhance sustainable production capabilities in infant formula manufacturing

BEIJING – Fangkuai Boiler Co., a leading industrial boiler manufacturer, has secured a new agreement with China Feihe Limited (HKEX: 6186) to supply seven customized steam boiler systems, expanding their existing technological partnership. The collaboration represents a significant step in optimizing energy infrastructure within China's dairy production sector.

The newly contracted boiler systems incorporate Fangkuai's proprietary combustion optimization technology and intelligent control systems, engineered to achieve thermal efficiency ratings exceeding 98%. This advanced configuration is projected to reduce Feihe's annual carbon emissions by approximately 1,200 metric tons while decreasing natural gas consumption by an estimated 15% compared to conventional steam generation systems.

"Through this partnership, we're implementing a comprehensive steam energy solution that aligns with Feihe's sustainability roadmap," said Wang Jian, Technical Director at Fangkuai Boiler. "Our systems integrate real-time monitoring and automated efficiency adjustments, ensuring consistent steam parameters while minimizing operational costs."

Feihe's selection criteria emphasized technological reliability, energy performance metrics, and environmental compliance. The company's rigorous vendor assessment process evaluated multiple parameters including system stability, maintenance requirements, and lifecycle cost analysis before confirming Fangkuai as the preferred technology partner.

The steam systems will support multiple stages of Feihe's production chain, including sterilization processes and spray drying operations at their flagship manufacturing facilities. Advanced heat recovery components will capture waste heat for repurposing in other plant operations, contributing to Feihe's broader initiative to establish carbon-neutral dairy farming and production practices by 2030.

Industry analysts note this partnership reflects growing convergence between industrial equipment manufacturers and consumer goods producers in addressing sustainability challenges. "The collaboration demonstrates how specialized industrial technology can drive tangible environmental gains in fast-moving consumer goods sectors," commented Dr. Li Wei, an energy systems researcher at Tsinghua University.
